Fall Wine Tasting/Dance Party Instructions

General Wine Tasting Instructions

1. Begin at your convenience.

2. Opt for any wine among the available bottles. Limit your pour to a small amount.

3. Examine the wine visually, smell it, and then taste. Discuss your impressions with nearby participants. Score the wine between 1-10 on your tasting sheet.

4. Optional Wine Tasting Grids, Flavor Finders and Wine Tasting Sheets are available.

5. Tally your scores by 10:30 PM. Mark your favorite bottle's tag with a tick mark.

6. A gathering will be held at 10:30 PM to unveil the most-liked bottle and to kick off the tasting competition.

Tasting Competition Instructions

1.Begin at any point during the evening.

2. Bottles marked with a secondary "TC" tag are part of the competition.

3. Please use the tasting sheets available near the "TC" tagged bottles for guidance.

4. For each "TC" bottle, make educated guesses on:

- Varietal (Grape Type)

- Region (Country of Origin)

- Vintage (Year)

5. If uncertain, speculate. You're encouraged to collaborate with others.

6. At the end of the competition, wines will be revealed for self-scoring.
