Todd & Leah's Classy Chicago Library Wedding
Todd & Leah tied the knot in Chicago at the Harold Washington Library on July 23rd, 2016.
"We were a bit nervous right before we started but once the music started and we began our routine we could hear our family and friends cheering us on and we started having fun with it! After the dance we felt great, we got lots of compliments from people and could not have been more happy with the routine BDC helped us put together!"
Todd & Leah had an elegant dance to "Latch" by Sam Smith that allowed them to glide across the floor and enjoy their time in the spotlight.
What was your favorite part of taking dance lessons for the wedding?
"Wedding planning gets really stressful in the last few months, it was great to have a break from all the other wedding tasks and do something fun together. It was something we really looked forward to during our week."
What insight or knowledge can you share with other couples who are taking dance lessons for their wedding?
Think about what your ideal dance looks like and go for it! At first we thought we were going to be limited because we were beginner level dancers but with the help of our fabulous instructor Lydia we were able to pull off a coordinated routine we never would have thought we could do! I would recommend doing a bit of research on other weddings to see what kind of style you like so you can chat about it with your instructor at the first meeting, they have great ideas to help you build your dance!
